The village of Bihar is changing. The village is now shining with the confluence of modernity and rural culture. A marriage event arranged in Baijani village of Jagdishpur area of Anga state, which is known as Katrani Zone, located about seven kilometers from Bhagalpur city, is in discussion about a unique marriage, telling the story of changing villages of Bihar. Everyone who went to the wedding ceremony became a fan of the system. Such marriages are rare in the villages of Bihar. In the decoration of Madhubani painting on the invitation letter printed in the wedding, folk art was saved through Madhubani painting by giving a new look to the invitation letter through Shriram and Janaki marriage, while the four-day wedding ceremony was molded as a marriage event. While Varmala’s stage was made like a volleybud set, the entire arrangement from the food to the wedding was being commanded through a wireless mic. All these arrangements for marriage were made by Bhagalpur Vidhidnya Sangh member cum advocate Chandan Kumar Jha in the marriage of his only daughter Shreya. The glimpse of Mithila’s culture was also visible in the wedding. While the wedding mandap was decorated with Bhagalpur folk art Manjusha painting, a separate cyber hall was built for the guests visiting the wedding spot. At the same time, Selpi Point was also made at the wedding venue. The king of the seasons In the spring season, under the open sky, the king of moments had all the arrangements for the wedding under the mango tree. Like the metropolis and on the same lines, all the arrangements were made in this marriage in the village and the entire management of the wedding was in the form of an event for four days. In this marriage, the family members had called all their relatives from abroad. The name of the place where this marriage took place in Baijani village is Rudralay. From horse dance, songs, ghazals, to the dress of Radha-Krishna in the wedding, the dance of Varmala was a special center of attraction.

बिहार का गांव बदल रहा है। गांव अब आधुनिकता व ग्रामीण संस्कृति के संगम से चमक रहा है। भागलपुर शहर से करीब सात किलोमीटर दूर स्थित कतरनी जोन के नाम से देश में जाने वाले अंग प्रदेश के जगदीशपुर इलाके के बैजानी गांव में हुई एक शादी की व्यवस्था मैरेज इवेंट बिहार के गांवों के बदलने की कहानी कह अनूठी शादी को लेकर चर्चा में है। शादी समारोह में जो भी लोग गए वो व्यवस्था के मुरीद हो गए। बिहार के गांवों में ऐसी शादी विरले ही होती है। शादी में छपे आमंत्रण पत्र पर मधुबनी पेंटिंग की सज्जा में श्रीराम व जानकी विवाह के जरिए आमंत्रण पत्र को नया लुक देकर मधुबनी पेंटिंग के जरिए लोककला को सहेजा गया था वहीं चार दिनों के शादी समारोह को मैरेज इवेंट के रूप में ढाला गया था। जहां वरमाला के स्टेज को वॉलीबुड सेट की तरह बनाया गया था वहीं खान–पान से लकर विवाह की पूरी व्यवस्था को वायरलेस माइक के जरिए कमांड किया जा रहा था। शादी की ये सारी व्यवस्था भागलपुर विधिज्ञ संघ के सदस्य सह अधिवक्ता चंदन कुमार झा ने अपनी इकलौती पुत्री श्रेया की शादी में की थी। शादी में मिथिला की संस्कृति की झलक भी जगह– जगह दिख रही थी। भागलपुर लोककला मंजूषा पेंटिंग से जहां शादी मंडप को सजाया गया था वहीं शादी स्पॉट पर आने वाले गेस्ट के लिए अलग से साइबर हॉल बनाया गया था। वहीं विवाह स्थल पर सेल्पी प्वाइंट भी बनाया गया था। मौसम के राजा बसंत के मौसम में खुले आसमान के नीचे पलों के राजा आम के पेड़ के नीचे शादी का सारा इंतजाम था। महानगर की तरह व उसी तर्ज पर गांव में हुई इस शादी में सारी व्यवस्था की गई थी तथा शादी का पूरा मैनेजमेंट चार दिनों तक एक इवेंट के रूप में था। इस शादी में घरवालों ने देश विदेश के अपने सारे रिश्तेदारों को बुलाया था। बैजानी गांव में जहां यह शादी हुई उस जगह का नाम रुद्रालय है। शादी में हार्स डांस, गीत, गजल, से लेकर राधा–कृष्ण के ड्रेस में वरमाला का नृत्य आकर्षण का विशेष केंद्र था।
