रूप कुमार, बिहार, बाबा रामदेव एक बार पुन: विवादों में हैं। इस बार वे मेडिकल साइंस पर कही गई अपनी कड़वी बातों को लेकर बयानों के जाल में उलझे हुए हैं। हालांकि जब उन्हें अपनी गलतियों का अहसास हुआ तथा इंडियन मेडिकल एसोसिएशन की ओर से उनके बयान को तिल का ताड़ बना उन्हें कानूनी शिकंजे में कसने की कवायद शुरू की गई तो बाबा ने अपना विवादित बयान वापस ले लिया और आईएमए से इसके लिए सॉरी भी कहा। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. हर्षवर्द्धन को इसके लिए पत्र भी लिखा। लेकिन विवाद शांत होने के बदले और आग की तरह लहकने लगा है। आईएमए बाबा के बयान को अपनी प्रतिष्ठा से जोड़ कर इसे आन-बान व शान की लड़ाई बना चुका है। ऐसे समय जब देश कोविड के कहर से बेजार है क्या बाबा को अपनी ऐसी बयानबाजी करनी चाहिए थी। या बाबा के बयानों के पीछे कुछ और मंशा है।  देश के वरिष्ठ पत्रकार व भारत की हेल्थ पत्रकारिता में एक अपनी एक विशेष पहचान रखने वाले हेल्थ जर्नलिस्ट धनंजय कुमार का कहना है कि बाबा रामदेव को डॉक्टरों व मेडिकल साइंस का मनोबल गिराने वाला बयान नहीं देना चाहिए था। उनका कहना है कि बाबा रामदेव की आईएमए में भी गहरी पैठ है। बाबा रामदेव के बयान को लेकर विवाद खड़ा करने के पीछे भी आईएमए की अंदरखाने की राजनीति भी है। वे कहते हैं कि रामदेव ने पहले भी मेडिकल साइंस को लेकर ऐसे विवादित बयान दिए हैं। इसके बाद भी आईएमए ने उन्हें सिर माथे पर रखा है।

एलोपैथी के खिलाफ बोलकर फंसे रामदेव:IMA ने दिल्ली और रायपुर में पुलिस कंप्लेन की; महामारी कानून, आपदा कानून और राजद्रोह के तहत FIR की मांग

योगगुरू रामदेव के खिलाफ इंडियन मेडिकल एसोसिएशन (IMA) का विरोध तेज होता जा रहा है। IMA ने गुरुवार को दिल्ली के आईपी एस्टेट पुलिस स्टेशन में योगगुरु के खिलाफ शिकायत दी है। इसमें रामदेव पर महामारी एक्ट, आपदा एक्ट और राजद्रोह समेत दूसरी धाराओं के तहत FIR दर्ज करने की मांग की गई है। इस शिकायत की वजह रामदेव का वह बयान है जिसमें उन्होंने एलोपैथी को बकवास और दिवालिया साइंस कहा था। इसे लेकर IMA उनसे नाराज है।

IMA ने अपनी शिकायत में कहा है कि रामदेव और उनके साथियों की मंशा गलत थी। उनका बयान देशहित के खिलाफ था। इससे गरीब जनता को जो नुकसान हुआ है उसकी भरपाई नहीं हो सकती। इसलिए उनके खिलाफ केस दर्ज किया जाना चाहिए।

IMA ने रामदेव के खिलाफ ऐसी ही शिकायत छत्तीसगढ़ की राजधानी रायपुर के सिविल लाइंस थाने में भी दी है। IMA के जिला अध्यक्ष डॉ. विकास अग्रवाल, सचिव डॉ. आशा जैन और डॉ. अनिल जैन की ओर से दी गई शिकायत में कहा गया है कि पिछले कुछ दिनों से रामदेव देश के डॉक्टर्स और इंडियन काउंसिल ऑफ मेडिकल रिसर्च से अप्रूव्ड कोरोना की दवाओं के बारे में दुष्प्रचार कर रहे हैं।

प्रधानमंत्री को भी पत्र लिखा
एलोपैथी और डॉक्टर्स को लेकर रामदेव के विवादित बयानों को IMA ने बुधवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को भी चिट्ठी लिखी है। इसमें कहा गया है कि वैक्सीनेशन को लेकर रामदेव की तरफ से किए जा रहे दुष्प्रचार को रोका जाना चाहिए। साथ ही उन पर देशद्रोह के आरोपों के तहत कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए। IMA के मुताबिक एक वीडियो में रामदेव ये दावा करते दिख रहे हैं कि कोरोना वैक्सीन की दोनों खुराक लेने के बाद भी 10,000 डॉक्टर और लाखों लोग मारे गए हैं।

IMA उत्तराखंड ने बुधवार को योग गुरु बाबा रामदेव को 1000 करोड़ रुपए का मानहानि का नोटिस भेजा है। यह मामला भी रामदेव के उस वीडियो से जुड़ा है, जिसमें बाबा एलोपैथी के खिलाफ बोल रहे हैं। हालांकि रामदेव ने बाद में अपना बयान वापस ले लिया था। लेकिन IMA का कहना है कि उन्होंने जो बयान दिया है उसके जवाब में अगर वे अगले 15 दिनों में वीडियो जारी कर सफाई नहीं देते और लिखित रूप से माफी नहीं मांगते, तो उनसे 1000 करोड़ रुपए की भरपाई की मांग की जाएगी।

Supreme Court lauds ‘Mumbai model’ of Covid management, asks Delhi, Centre to take note
The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked the Centre and Delhi government to take note of the ‘Mumbai model’ of Covid-19 management and see if the same can be replicated in the national capital.

The Supreme Court suggested the ‘Mumbai model’ to be emulated to tackle the issue of oxygen shortage in Delhi
In the midst of a nationwide medical oxygen crisis, the Supreme Court praised Mumbai’s response to the spread of Covid-19 on Wednesday, proposing that the Mumbai model be replicated in Delhi.

The bench headed by Justice DY Chandrachud took note of the submissions of Solicitor General Tushar Mehta that Mumbai managed with 275 MT of oxygen even when the active cases crossed 92,000.

“I do applaud the Mumbai model. It is not a political model. As an officer of the court, not for the Centre or a state, we need to find a solution. People cannot run from pillar to post. This is not to undermine the efforts of Delhi,” Tushar Mehta said.BMC officials reveal lessons Mumbai learnt from first wave of Covid infections

“Bombay Municipal Corporation has done some remarkable work and, not disrespecting Delhi, but we can maybe see what was done by BMC,” Justice Chandrachud said.

He also requested that the Centre and the Delhi government’s Health Secretary draw on the expertise of BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal in order to construct oxygen storage tanks in the national capital.

“If this can be done in Mumbai, which is an incredibly congested city, then it can be done in Delhi as well,” the Court said.
The bench was hearing a petition filed by the Central government against the show-cause notice issued by the Delhi High Court for contempt action for failing to supply 700 MT of oxygen per day to the national capital in terms of the Court orders.
The Supreme Court also asked the Centre to maintain transparency on the ongoing oxygen crisis in Delhi and keep citizens informed.
